At Moss Vale Aquatic Centre we understand how important it is for people of all ages to stay healthy and active. That's why we have a range of options available for our more mature members and guests.
- Exercise Therapy Classes - Held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Be sure to get here early as these classes are incredibly popular!
- Seniors Fitness Classes - These Health Club based classes are run twice a week and are a combination of cardiovascular and strength development exercises. It is so important as we get older that we keep the muscles strong to assist us in daily activities. Strength training improves balance, wards off osteoporosis and develops more muscle around the bones to prevent breaks and fractures from falls etc.
- Body Balance - a combination of yoga, tai chi and pilates that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a crefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. Perfect for all ages.
- ChiBall - Chiball is used to generate energy, mobility and flexibility using vigorous to gentle, slow and continuous movement pattersn which aids detoxification and oxygen supply to the muscles.
We also have fully qualified and accredited Personal Trainers who can teach you how to train in a safe and effective manner, taking into account any injuries or issues you may have. Combined with the lovely warm water of our program pool we have something for everyone!
